It is a certified material made from renewable resources according to the Biomass Balance method: the fossil raw materials needed to manufacture polystyrene are replaced by raw materials derived from biomass (green waste). A NEOPS® product is 100% recyclable in EPS recycling streams (recycling bins, waste disposal centers, collection points) and KNAUF Circular®. The technical performance of NEOPS® is identical to expanded polystyrene (thermal resistance, fire resistance, shock absorption, etc.) but with a better environmental impact.
